Premium kiln dried logs for sale

Need a quick and easy way to arrange a firewood delivery to Gloucestershire? We can help! The high-quality kiln-dried logs for sale on this site can be delivered to any address in the county.

From Gloucester to Cheltenham and Cirencester – and everywhere in between – we take pride in delivering kiln-dried wood logs direct to your door. In fact, there has never been a better way to have kiln-dried hardwood logs delivered in Gloucestershire!

What do I get when I order firewood?

Each bag contains British hardwood logs that have been sustainably sourced in the UK. There is a mix of kiln-dried beech logs, kiln-dried ash logs and kiln-dried oak logs in every order.

All of the logs undergo a kiln-drying process to remove excess moisture, which means they’re ready to burn when they arrive. Plus, they light easily and don’t emit much smoke. It’s no wonder they’re the best wood for burning!

How do I place an order?

It’s a quick and easy, three-stage process:

  1. Pick the amount of kiln dried firewood logs you’d like and place it in your basket.
  2. Pay using your preferred method at the checkout. We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
  3. Enter your address and delivery date.

Once your payment has processed, we’ll send you an order confirmation note and deliver the firewood on your chosen day.

How much is a firewood delivery to Gloucestershire?

It’s free from Monday to Friday, wherever you’re having bulk firewood logs delivered in Gloucestershire. If it’s easier, we can deliver on a Saturday for a small fee.

What does the delivery look like?

You can either choose to have your kiln dried logs delivered in a bulk bag or in several smaller boxes, depending on what you’d prefer. Both options come stacked on a pallet for convenient delivery.

If you’re unsure what to do with the pallet afterwards, don’t let that put you off. Check out our handy tips for disposing of pallets.

Kiln Dried Log Delivery

Are kiln-dried logs suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

They are. You can use them on an open fire or in a wood burner, keeping your home cosy throughout the winter. Alternatively, you can use them on a campfire, fire pit or in a chiminea – ideal for outdoor living. They’re also perfect for use in both clay and brick-built pizza ovens.

We have small logs, medium logs and large logs for sale online. Use our size selector to make sure you have the right logs for your needs.

I want to save money. What’s the best way to buy firewood?

Our number 1 tip is to buy in the summer when firewood for sale demand is low. Many companies reduce the price and offer discounts while the weather’s warm to drum up business.

Arranging bulk firewood deliveries can also help to reduce the cost over the long term, while saving you time and hassle at the supermarket!

Why are the logs for sale on your site measured by volume?

Our aim is to be transparent in everything we do; selling firewood by volume (m3) is one of the ways we achieve that.

Seasoned logs are often very damp, so when you buy by weight (kg), you buy lots of water. Thanks to the kiln-drying process our logs are much lighter but you get the same amount of firewood. Ordering by volume therefore gives you a much clearer picture of what you’ll get.

Are your logs sustainably sourced?

All of our wooden logs for sale are sustainably sourced. We’ve worked hard to find a supplier who is as committed to sustainability as we are. As such, all of the bulk logs for sale on this website were felled as part of a thinning process undertaken by a professional.

Plus, all of our hardwood logs are from British sources, so you’re supporting British business and keeping your carbon footprint low.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also make regular donations to tree-planting schemes in the UK to ensure a healthy future for our natural environment. We aim to be a responsible log supplier.

Versatile firewood logs:

Our logs can be used for many purposes, so whether you are searching for; best wood for log burners, best wood for pizza ovens, chiminea logs, wood for wood burners, wood for stoves or wood logs for fireplace – we can fulfil your needs.

All bags typically contain a mix of:

We do not target specific wood species for the purpose of sustainability.

Fuelling the nation’s fires – our story

FirewoodFund is a passion business born after our founder Matthew couldn’t find exactly what he was looking for – locally sourced, sustainable wood delivered conveniently. With so much fiery potential, it’s no wonder that our founder Matthew felt the need for an easy way to get sustainable logs at home!

It all began in 2016 when our founder Matthew bought a new stove and needed some firewood delivered. Matthew was excited to use his new stove, but when he looked for locally sourced sustainable firewood nearby, he found the ordering process inconvenient – even having to leave a cheque under a plant pot!

So instead of being confined by local suppliers, he investigated ordering online. However, a lot of the wood on offer from these top online retailers wasn’t actually coming from our own country’s forests but rather farther away in Eastern Europe. Not only does this add an unnecessary footprint from having firewood logs delivered from far away, but it also increases risk for diseases being introduced into native woods here. A big no-no!

So, the idea of FirewoodFund was born! Matthew set out to create a better way to provide British firewood for sale online. Since 2016 we’ve gone from strength to strength. We not only support tree planting but also pride ourselves on reliable, long-lasting relationships with our customers and source only British dry firewood logs that are ‘ready-to burn’ so you can have both a quality product and an easy order experience!

We’re passionate about the excellent service that we provide to our customers. Our 5-star reviews speak for themselves and show how committed, reliable & convenient it is when you order your firewood through us. We’re also proud to offer our satisfaction guaranteed or your money back policy. So, if you’re not entirely happy with your order for any reason, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Why should I buy from you?

There are lots of reasons to choose us, but here are some of the highlights:

  • Order online 24/7
  • Use a variety of payment methods
  • Choose a convenient date for your bulk firewood delivery
  • Delivery is free from Monday to Friday on all bags of logs
  • Saturday deliveries are available for a small charge
  • Receive sustainable, British-sourced logs, every time
  • Five-star-rated product. Read what our customers say
  • We only supply the very best wood for burning

Remember the best logs for your log burner = kiln dried. Check out our kiln dried logs for sale today.
