Description
Our logs have been kiln dried to reduce moisture. Less moisture means more heat output, a cleaner burn and ultimately means you need fewer logs.
These premier ‘ready to burn’ logs are perfect for stoves, open fires, firepits & pizza ovens. This fuel is suitable for DEFRA approved stoves that can be used in a smoke control area.

Boxed Firewood Delivered to Your Door
Our five-box kiln dried log bundle is a convenient choice for occasional fires, first-time orders and homes where storage space is limited.
Unlike larger bulk bags and crates, these firewood boxes arrive by parcel courier in a small van. There is no need for pallet access, a level unloading area or space to store one large delivery.
Each box can be carried and stored separately, making this product particularly practical for garages, sheds, covered log stores and smaller properties.
What Is Included in the Five Firewood Boxes?
Your order contains:
- Five boxes of kiln dried mixed hardwood logs
- Approximately 16–24 logs in each box
- Approximately 80–120 logs across the full order
- Three large natural firelighters in every box
- 15 natural firelighters in total
The firelighters are designed to help ignite the logs without the need for separate kindling, giving you a convenient starter firewood supply in one delivery.
The five boxes contain approximately the same quantity of firewood as ten traditional small bags or nets. Log numbers will vary because firewood is a natural product and individual pieces differ in diameter and shape.
Kiln Dried Hardwood Below 20% Moisture
Every box contains hardwood logs that have been kiln dried to reduce their moisture content to below 20%.
Removing excess moisture helps the logs:
- light more easily;
- produce useful heat more quickly;
- burn more consistently;
- create less smoke than wet or unseasoned wood;
- reduce the energy wasted evaporating water from the logs.
The firewood is ready for immediate use when it arrives, provided it is kept dry before burning.
Mixed British and European Hardwood
The boxes contain a mixture of responsibly sourced British and European hardwood.
Typical species may include:
- ash;
- beech;
- oak;
- other suitable hardwoods available through responsible woodland management and thinning.
We do not guarantee one specific wood species in each box. Using a varied supply allows suitable hardwood to be sourced responsibly rather than selecting trees solely to provide one named species.
Every box is quality checked before dispatch.

- open fires;
- fireplaces;

- chimineas;

Is This the Right Quantity for Me?
Choose these five boxes when you:
- light fires occasionally;
- want a manageable first order;
- have limited firewood storage;
- cannot accept a pallet delivery;
- prefer cardboard packaging;
- want logs and firelighters supplied together.
For frequent burning, a larger sack, bulk bag or kiln dried log crate may offer better value per unit of firewood.
Compare all kiln dried logs before ordering if you are unsure which volume is most appropriate.
Delivery and Storage
Free delivery is available to UK mainland addresses.
The five boxes are dispatched through a parcel courier and delivered using a parcel vehicle rather than a pallet lorry.
The cardboard packaging is not waterproof. Move the boxes into a dry, covered and ventilated storage space as soon as possible after delivery.
Keep the logs:
- protected from rain;
- raised away from wet ground;
- in a ventilated location;
- away from sources of excessive moisture.
Only bring the quantity needed for immediate use into the home.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many logs are included?
Each box contains approximately 16–24 logs. Across five boxes, you should receive approximately 80–120 logs in total.
The precise number varies because larger logs occupy more space than smaller pieces.
How many firelighters are included?
Every box contains three large natural firelighters, giving you 15 firelighters across the complete order.
Do I need to buy kindling?
The included natural firelighters are designed to start the logs without separate kindling. Lighting performance can depend on your appliance, airflow and how the fire is arranged.
Are these oak logs?
The boxes contain mixed hardwood. Oak may be included alongside species such as ash and beech, but a particular species or proportion is not guaranteed.
Is this a single sample box?
No. This product contains five separate firewood boxes. It is a manageable starter-sized order rather than one individual sample box.
Is the packaging waterproof?
No. The cardboard packaging is recyclable but is not waterproof. Store the boxes somewhere dry as soon as they arrive.
Will the order arrive on a pallet?
No. These boxed logs are sent through a parcel courier and normally arrive in a parcel-delivery vehicle.
Are the logs ready to use?
Yes. The logs have been kiln dried to a moisture content below 20% and can be used immediately when stored correctly.
