FirewoodFund.co.uk started in 2016 when we discovered that most online retailers were actually importing kiln dried logs from Eastern Europe and selling to the UK consumer. We investigated this further, only to find that that many of these retailers were operating deceptively. E.g. When searching for terms like ‘British firewood’ or ‘sustainable logs’, these retailers were appearing at the top of search rankings. Often these sites make zero reference to to origin of the logs for burning. We then decided to create FirewoodFund to fight back and support the British log sales.

We sell a great product. Having all the passion in the world isn’t enough unless you’re selling something that you’re proud of, we’re lucky enough to have that. Our premium quality wood is grown sustainably and works out to be one of the most economic ways to heat your home.
FirewoodFund’s bulk log bags are sold in Cubic Metres (m3). We sell our logs in volume rather than weight because most of the moisture has been removed through the kiln drying process. Buying logs in weight isn’t a good measure because ton bag of logs could mean you get very few logs (if they contain excess moisture). Beyond our bulk bags, you can also buy individual smaller bags of logs stacked on a pallet.
We’re helpful too. As you’ll see on Google we’re a five star rated business, and we want to keep that up. So we’re on hand for any queries or comments you may have!
