From Lincoln City to the Wolds โ Firewood Delivered Across Lincolnshire
Whether you are topping up a stove in Lincoln, filling the log store for winter or arranging a larger firewood delivery elsewhere in Lincolnshire, choose the quantity and format that fits the way you actually burn.
FirewoodFund supplies kiln-dried logs for online delivery across Lincolnshire in bags, bulk bags, crates and bundles, with product specifications and delivery options clearly shown before you order.
Order Your Lincolnshire Firewood in Three Simple Steps
- Choose your logs โ select the species, pack format and quantity that suit your fire, then add them to your basket.
- Enter your Lincolnshire delivery address โ you’ll see the delivery options and charges available for your order. Parcel-sized products are dispatched by courier, while eligible palletised orders offer bookable delivery dates.
- Check out online โ review the products, delivery details and total before securely completing your order.
If you’re ordering a larger palletised load, it’s worth checking our delivery information before ordering, particularly if your property has restricted access.
Logs for Sale with Delivery Across Lincolnshire โ Compare the Load, Not Just the Price
Looking for logs for sale around Lincoln or elsewhere in Lincolnshire often comes down to price, but the cheapest-looking pack isn’t necessarily the best comparison.
Firewood is supplied in different formats and volumes. A loose-filled bulk bag, for example, shouldn’t be compared directly with a neatly stacked crate purely by looking at the outside dimensions.
Our firewood volume comparison chart makes it easier to compare the amount of firewood you receive.
It’s also important not to confuse a commonly named โtonne bagโ with a tonne of wood. Bulk bags describe the style and dimensions of the bag rather than guaranteeing a particular weight of firewood.
Smaller bags and boxes
Smaller bags of logs can be a practical choice if you use your fire occasionally, have limited storage space or simply need a convenient top-up.
They’re also easier to move and store in smaller quantities.
Bulk bags for regular burning
If your stove or fireplace is used regularly through autumn and winter, a larger bulk firewood order can reduce the need to keep reordering.
Before choosing a larger bag, consider where the logs will be stored and whether you have enough dry, ventilated space for the full quantity.
Crates for larger quantities
Crates offer another way to buy a substantial quantity of kiln-dried logs.
Because the logs are stacked rather than loose-filled, compare the stated stacked volume with other products rather than assuming a crate and bulk bag contain equivalent quantities.
Product pages provide the relevant species, dimensions, origin and volume information to help you choose.
Choosing Between 25cm and 35cm Kiln-Dried Logs
Individual log size is just as important as the overall size of your order.
Our regular logs are approximately 25cm long, with a ยฑ10% length tolerance, and typically around 5โ15cm across their widest point, also allowing for natural variation.
This size works well for many domestic wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and other appliances.
For larger fireboxes, selected large logs are approximately 35cm long with a ยฑ10% tolerance, with larger diameters of around 8โ20cm, again subject to natural variation.
If your stove has a compact firebox, explore our small logs instead.
Always check the maximum log dimensions recommended by your appliance manufacturer before ordering.

Firewood Delivery Across Lincolnshire’s Towns, Wolds, Fens and Villages
Lincolnshire covers a remarkably varied landscape.
There are the rolling hills and valleys of the Lincolnshire Wolds, extensive areas of flatter Fenland further south, the city of Lincoln, larger towns and a huge number of rural villages and scattered properties.
That variety can make delivery access just as important as choosing the firewood itself.
For pallet deliveries, the delivery vehicle needs suitable road access and the pallet is unloaded using a tail lift and pallet truck.
If your property is reached along a particularly narrow road, or the likely unloading area is steep, gravelled, soft or uneven, please provide the relevant information when ordering.
If you’re unsure whether your address is suitable for a pallet delivery, contact FirewoodFund before placing a large order and we’ll be happy to advise.
We deliver across the page’s Lincolnshire coverage area, including Lincoln, Aubourn, Grantham, Sleaford, Boston, Spalding, Brigg, Scunthorpe, Skegness and many surrounding towns and villages.
FirewoodFund is an online firewood retailer delivering to Lincolnshire. We do not operate a Lincolnshire shop, depot or customer collection point.
Buying Firewood in Lincoln or Scunthorpe? Check Your Local Smoke-Control Rules
If you’re burning wood within Lincoln itself, it’s worth checking the local rules as well as choosing dry firewood.
Lincoln is extensively covered by Smoke Control Areas. That doesn’t necessarily prevent you from burning wood, but the appliance and fuel need to comply with the rules that apply to smoke-control areas.
There are also Smoke Control Orders covering the urban area of Scunthorpe.
Kiln-dried wood and smoke-control compliance are two separate considerations. Buying dry logs doesn’t automatically mean wood can be burned in every appliance.
If you’re unsure, check your appliance manufacturer’s guidance and the information provided by your local authority before using firewood.

British and European-Sourced Kiln-Dried Logs
FirewoodFund offers both British and European-sourced logs depending on the individual product.
If the origin of your firewood is particularly important to you, check the product description before ordering rather than assuming every bag or crate has the same source.
You can browse our dedicated British logs collection if UK provenance is a priority, or explore the wider range of kiln-dried logs to compare different species and pack sizes.
Different products are available to suit different fires and buying preferences, so it’s worth considering log size, species, quantity and storage space together.
Keep Your Kiln-Dried Logs Dry After Delivery
Kiln drying removes excess moisture from firewood before it reaches you, so good storage matters once your order has arrived.
Move logs into a covered, ventilated log store as soon as practical.
Keep them protected from persistent rain and avoid storing them directly against wet ground. Air circulation around the logs is also useful, particularly when you’re storing a larger quantity for several months.
If you’re planning to order enough firewood for much of the winter, check how much dry storage space you actually have before choosing the largest available pack.
Firewood That Helps Support UK Tree Planting
Every online FirewoodFund order also contributes to something beyond the firewood itself.
FirewoodFund donates money towards tree planting in the UK for every order placed online.
The donation helps support UK tree-planting activity. It doesn’t mean that one tree is planted for every individual order, and planting isn’t necessarily carried out within Lincolnshire.
You can find out more about our tree-planting initiative and how online orders contribute.
Frequently Asked Questions About Firewood Delivery in Lincolnshire
Do you deliver kiln-dried logs to Lincoln?
Yes. FirewoodFund provides online firewood delivery to Lincoln as well as towns and villages across the wider Lincolnshire area. See the full delivery-location list further down this page for detailed coverage.
Can I order firewood for delivery elsewhere in Lincolnshire?
Yes. Coverage extends well beyond Lincoln and includes areas around Grantham, Sleaford, Boston, Spalding, Skegness, Brigg, Scunthorpe and many smaller Lincolnshire communities.
Enter your postcode during checkout to see the delivery options available for your order.
How should I compare kiln-dried log prices?
Compare the final delivered price alongside the actual amount of firewood you’re receiving.
A loose-filled bulk bag isn’t measured in the same way as a stacked crate, so don’t judge value from the name or outside dimensions of the packaging alone.
Our volume comparison chart is designed to make different firewood formats easier to understand.
Does a tonne bag contain a tonne of logs?
Not necessarily.
โTonne bagโ is commonly used as a description for a particular style of bulk bag. It shouldn’t be taken to mean that the bag contains exactly one tonne of firewood.
Compare products using their stated volume, specifications and delivered price instead.
What size logs should I buy for my wood burner?
Our regular logs are approximately 25cm long, while selected larger logs are approximately 35cm long.
Because stove fireboxes vary considerably, measure the usable space inside your appliance and check the manufacturer’s recommended maximum log dimensions before ordering.
Can you deliver a pallet to a rural Lincolnshire property?
Many rural addresses can receive pallet deliveries, but access and ground conditions matter.
Narrow lanes, restricted vehicle access, steep slopes, gravel and soft or uneven surfaces can all affect where a pallet can safely be unloaded.
If you’re concerned about access, get in touch with us before placing the order.
Can I burn kiln-dried logs in Lincoln’s Smoke Control Areas?
Kiln-dried wood isn’t automatically permitted in every appliance simply because it is dry.
If your property is within a Smoke Control Area, check that your stove or other appliance and the fuel you’re using comply with the applicable rules.
Are all FirewoodFund logs British?
No. FirewoodFund sells both British and European-sourced firewood depending on the particular product.
If you specifically want UK-sourced firewood, browse our British logs collection and check the product information before ordering.
Should I choose a bulk bag or crate?
That depends on how much you burn, how you prefer to handle the delivery and the storage space available at home.
Bulk bags can be convenient for loose firewood, while crates provide a larger stacked quantity. Use the stated volumes rather than comparing packaging dimensions alone.
How should I store my logs once they’ve been delivered?
Keep them somewhere covered and ventilated, ideally raised away from persistently damp ground.
Avoid leaving kiln-dried logs exposed to rain or sealing them somewhere where condensation and moisture can accumulate.
