Kiln-dried logs delivered to Suffolk & Ipswich

Looking for a simple way to keep your home snug and cosy in winter? Or your fire pit burning over summer? FirewoodFund is here to help.

We’re the online destination for kiln-dried log deliveries in Ipswich and Suffolk. Whether you live in Woodbridge, Felixstowe or Lowestoft, we can deliver high-quality firewood logs to your address at the touch of a button. Just pick what you want, pay and select a delivery date – then sit back and relax!

What do I get when I place an order?

You will receive high-quality hardwood logs that are ready to burn. Our deliveries only contain sustainably sourced British hardwoods, typically featuring a mixture of oak, ash and beech logs.

Unlike seasoned logs, our wood has been kiln-dried. That means most of the moisture has been removed, which makes it the best wood for burning.

Remember: you can choose your log size, so you get the right dimensions for your needs. We have small logs, medium logs and large logs for sale. Simply select the option you’d prefer when you place your order.

How much is a firewood delivery to Suffolk?

Kiln dried hardwood log deliveries in Suffolk and Ipswich are free from Monday to Friday. A small charge applies on Saturdays if this is better for you.

Kiln Dried Log Delivery

Where can I have kiln dried logs delivered in Suffolk?

We can deliver firewood to destinations throughout Suffolk, from Acton and Barton Mills to Carlton Colville or Dedham Vale. Check out the list at the bottom of this page to see where we deliver.

How will my logs be delivered?

Your bulk firewood delivery to Suffolk or Ipswich will arrive in bag(s) on a pallet. You can also buy individual boxes of logs stacked on a pallet if that’s a better option for you.

If you have concerns about what to do with the pallet, check out this page.

Can I use kiln-dried logs indoors and outdoors?

Yes, you can use them in a variety of ways. Our bags of logs are suitable for:

  • Winter use in your wood-burning stove or open fire.
  • Summer use in your chiminea or fire pit, or on a campfire.
  • Food preparation. Use the logs to heat your pizza oven to achieve an authentic flavour.

We also sell kindling and firelighters if you need them.

Why should I buy kiln-dried logs in bulk?

Buying logs in small quantities is expensive and inconvenient – no one really wants to pop out to buy more bulk firewood logs when it’s cold! A one-off bulk firewood delivery saves you time and money.

Top tip: Buy your kiln-dried wood logs in warmer months to benefit from discounts. The demand for firewood in Suffolk drops over summer, so there are often offers available.

Why sell logs by volume instead of weight?

Seasoned logs contain a high proportion of moisture. When you buy these by weight, you’re also buying lots of water.

Our bulk firewood bags are sold in cubic metres (m3) rather than kilograms (kg) because most of the moisture has been removed by the kiln-drying process. If you bought a tonne of kiln-dried wood instead of seasoned wood, you’d be surprised by how much arrives! Selling by volume therefore gives you a clear idea of how much wood you’re buying.

Small, medium or large logs?
