Kiln-dried logs for sale
The firewood for sale on this site are all kiln-dried. As a result, they contain less moisture than seasoned logs. That means they’re ready to burn, reach high temperatures quickly and give off less smoke. You’ll have a cosy home in no time! Remember the best logs for your log burner = kiln dried.
We guarantee that in every order, you’ll get a mixture of British hardwoods, featuring kiln-dried oak logs, kiln-dried beech logs and kiln-dried ash logs, which tend to burn for longer than softwood varieties.
Plus, they’re all sustainably sourced in the UK, so you can be sure you have the best wood for burning. We aim to be a responsible log supplier.

How to arrange a firewood delivery to Hertfordshire
Take a look around the site before deciding on the quantity of Kiln dried hardwood logs you’d like and the size of log you’d prefer (choose from small logs, medium logs and large logs using our size selector).
You’ll also need to choose whether you’d prefer to have your bulk firewood delivery in a large bag or in multiple small boxes. Just pick which you’d prefer before heading to the checkout, where you can pick a delivery date and pay.
Remember, delivery from Monday to Friday is free anywhere in the UK. A small charge applies for a Saturday delivery. Whether you live in Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage or St Albans, the delivery price remains the same on bulk firewood logs.
Check out our delivery page for more information about the size of our lorries and the space required for delivery.
Weight vs volume
Our kiln dried hardwood logs are sold by volume because the moisture has been removed. As a result, it’s a lot lighter than seasoned logs. If you were to buy a ton of kiln-dried logs, you would receive far more wood than if you bought a ton of seasoned logs! Selling by volume gives you a much clearer idea of what you’ll get because you can picture the amount of space your order will take up.
