Buying logs in small quantities is expensive. Having bulk firewood delivered is the best value way to buy logs. We can supply you a kiln dried logs pallet direct to any UK mainland address.
Our bulk bags are made up of a mixture of British hardwood logs from a natural thinning process. The typical firewood types are:
FirewoodFund’s bulk log bags are sold in Cubic Metres (m3). We sell our logs in volume rather than weight because most of the moisture has been removed through the kiln drying process. Buying logs in weight isn’t a good measure because ton bag of logs could mean you get very few logs (if they contain moisture). Beyond our bulk bags, you can also buy individual smaller bags of logs stacked on a pallet.
The Kingdom of Sussex was apparently founded, according to local legends, as far back as AD 477 – and is still going strong to this day. Although, of course, it refers to itself as a county now instead of a Kingdom!
The skeletons of some of the earliest known species of man in the United Kingdom were discovered in Sussex (known as hominids) – their remains were found in the settlement of Boxgrove. The county was also a thriving Roman stronghold at one point and is perhaps most notably famous for playing host to the Battle of Hastings – in which William the Conqueror cemented his takeover of England and King Harold lost his eye to a Norwegian archer.
In terms of economy Sussex is a key British destination for tourists – particularly those coming to discover the seafront delights of Brighton. While Brighton is famous for its beaches and fish & chips, it has also recently come to light as being a hub for media and new media businesses/start-ups.
When it comes to education, the University of Sussex and the University of Brighton are rising up the English academic rankings – bringing in a plethora of students from across the world, as well as offering more jobs to the area.
Whether you call Hastings home, or Brighton, Eastbourne or anywhere in between we’d like to help you keep your house warm. Central heating oil is expensive – that’s why so many of us are choosing log burners or open fires to keep ourselves and our loved ones warm. It makes great economic sense!
Although, it’s no secret that a wood delivery can still be expensive – especially when you’ve got other bills appearing on your doorstep throughout the year! But, we’ve got a solution to help that – we let you save a bit away each month until you’re ready for some kiln dried logs – then you just let us know and we’ll take care of everything else. From ordering, to delivery and to making sure the driver has time to get a Ginster’s steak slice on his way home.
We’re also all geared up to take one-off orders too – just let us know your address, payment details and a good day for a firewood delivery – we’ll do the rest. You work hard enough, let us take care of this for you.
We are confident we’ve the best logs for your log burner. FirewoodFund may not have the cheapest kiln dried logs on sale, but when it comes to quality logs you get what you pay for. Best wood for burning = kiln dried logs. For more information or to buy kiln dried logs online right away, hit the menu above.
