Kiln drying is an artificial yet highly effective way of quickly drying out logs. Wood naturally releases moisture; however, it can take years until a log is cut before you can use it. Kiln-dried logs take around 36 hours to dry in a temperature-controlled setting where we can bring down the moisture content of the wood to a specific level.   So why do we prefer kiln-dried? These logs burn hotter and last longer than their seasoned counterparts, which is especially useful if you use a fireplace, heating system, or want to start a campfire. By removing so much of the water content from the log, a greater proportion of their mass is burnable carbon, which is what gives kiln-dried logs better-burning power. Our kiln-dried firewood is also cleaner. The drying process helps kill fungus and pests in the wood – making it last longer.

• Boxes of Logs – Free nationwide delivery. We’ll ship your order as a parcel within 2 working days. Your firewood will arrive at your doorstep.
• Pallet Deliveries – Free nationwide delivery. We hand deliver larger orders on a lorry with a tail lift. Our drivers will unload your firewood in the location of your choice.

  Do you need a weekend delivery? We’re one of the only log suppliers offering Saturday delivery. Please note Saturday delivery is an extra fee.
