Our KindleFlamer Firelighters (3 Pack) gives you three extra-long, British-made fire starters designed to produce a large, sustained flame. They’re ideal for trying KindleFlamers for the first time, keeping a few ready beside your stove, or simply adding them to your next FirewoodFund log order.
Made from wood wool and wax, each KindleFlamer is approximately 17cm long and designed to create enough sustained heat to help ignite dry logs or charcoal without the usual handful of smaller firelighters.

The distinctive length of a KindleFlamer is what makes it different.
Instead of producing a small flame concentrated in one spot, its longer shape helps spread the flame across a wider area of your fuel. With suitably dry logs and the fire arranged correctly, this can remove the need for separate kindling altogether.
Simply position a KindleFlamer beneath your logs, light it and allow the sustained flame to do the work.

No kerosene smell around your fire or food
KindleFlamers are made using wood wool and wax rather than the kerosene-based formulation associated with many traditional firelighter blocks.
That makes them particularly appealing when lighting pizza ovens and barbecues, where you may prefer not to use a strongly scented conventional firelighter around food.
They’re equally useful indoors when you’d rather avoid the characteristic smell of traditional firelighter blocks around your stove or fireplace.
Born from a simple idea
KindleFlamers were originally developed by inventor George Snell near the Welsh borders.
The idea was straightforward: make the firelighter longer so that it creates a bigger, more sustained source of heat.
The result is a very simple product – but one designed specifically around the part that matters most: getting your fire established quickly and reliably.

Do KindleFlamers replace kindling?
With dry fuel arranged correctly, a KindleFlamer’s larger sustained flame is designed to help ignite logs without separate kindling. Conditions and fire setups vary, so particularly difficult-to-light fires may still benefit from smaller pieces of dry wood.
How many KindleFlamers are in this pack?
Three. This makes it particularly suitable as a trial pack, for occasional use, or as a small addition to a larger firewood order.
Can I use them in a wood-burning stove?
Yes. KindleFlamers can be used for lighting dry firewood in wood-burning stoves and other suitable solid-fuel fires.
Can I use KindleFlamers for a barbecue or pizza oven?
Yes. Their wood-wool-and-wax construction makes them a useful alternative to strongly scented conventional firelighters when starting charcoal or suitable wood for outdoor cooking.
Do I pay delivery if I add them to my log order?
There is no additional delivery charge for the KindleFlamers when they’re added to one of our qualifying bulk firewood deliveries. If ordered separately, a courier delivery charge applies.
