But what exactly is a stove fan?
A stove fan is ingeniously designed to evenly circulate warm air produced by gas or wood burning stoves. It features a peltier module that acts as a generator, powering the fan’s discreet motor. Our stove fans rely solely on the stove’s heat, making them completely self-powered. By placing a top fan on your stove, you’ll experience reduced fuel costs and emissions. The stove top fan initiates operation when the stove’s surface temperature reaches 50°C, making it compatible with both gas and wood burning stoves. Utilising a stove fan is the most efficient and economical way to effectively distribute warm air. Moreover, it requires no batteries, enabling its use in areas without electricity.
Safety is of utmost importance, and our fan includes a base equipped with a safety strip. This strip gently lifts the fan’s base to prevent overheating and motor damage, automatically lowering it when the stove cools to the maximum operating temperature. For optimal performance, please ensure the stove top fan is placed on top of the stove, away from the flue pipe.
