What type of firewood will I receive?
Our wooden logs for sale are a mixture of British hardwood logs. These logs are from trees that have been felled as part of a natural thinning process. As a result, we source a lot of our wood from registered tree surgeons.
A typical bag might contain:
- Kiln-dried ash logs for sale
- Kiln-dried oak logs for sale
- Kiln-dried beech logs for sale
We do not target specific wood species for the purpose of sustainability.

The right sized logs for your needs
Select the right sized logs for your needs here. See below for a reminder of the size options across our bulk logs for sale:
- Large logs for sale
- Medium logs for sale
- Small logs for sale
All of our logs are kiln-dried, which is the best wood for burning. Unlike seasoned logs, they are low in moisture, which makes them easier to light and able to reach higher temperatures. Plus, they can be used the moment they’re delivered! Remember the best logs for your log burner = kiln dried. Check out our kiln dried logs for sale today.
What are kiln dried logs suitable for?
The kiln-dried logs for sale on our site incredibly versatile and can be used for:
- Wood-burners
- Stoves
- Open fires
- Firepits
- Chimeneas
- Pizza ovens
- And more!
Do I have to buy a certain amount of logs?
You can buy the equivalent of 10 individual bags or more. Buying logs in small quantities is less cost-effective. The economies of scale make bulk-buying better value for money. Whether you’re buying in bulk or not, we will deliver kiln-dried logs direct to any address in Kent.
Why are your firewood logs sold by volume?
Buying logs by weight isn’t a good measure of value. Fresh, damp logs weigh more than kiln-dried firewood because they contain more residual moisture. Buying damp logs by weight means that you’re paying for water! This is why our firewood bulk log bags are sold in cubic metres (m3) rather than weight.
Can I save money on firewood?
Yes. Buying in bulk is more economical than buying individual bags of logs. You can also order a delivery to Kent in the summer. Firewood tends to be cheaper during the warmer months, so it can be worth stocking up.
What about sustainability?
Sustainability is a key part of our mission. And we don’t just talk about it; we actively support replanting in the UK. Every time you order from us, we donate towards tree planting. We’re committed to our tree-planting programme and are delighted to support sustainable woodlands and forests. In addition, we source all of our wood from the UK, so it doesn’t have to travel across Europe to get here – reducing our carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels. We aim to be a responsible log supplier.
Fuelling the nation’s fires – our story
A passion for British dry firewood and a disdain for poor services – The kindling that birthed FirewoodFund. After purchasing a stove, Matthew (our founder) headed to find some local firewood. Like most, he stopped at the first ‘Firewood for Sale’ sign he saw.
Armed with a pocket full of cash and a Debit Card just in case, he thought he had all bases covered. Little did he know he’d be paying by slipping a cheque – of all things – under a plant pot!
Well, at least he had his dry firewood. But to his surprise, these logs were shipped from Eastern Europe.. ‘Why?’ he thought. After all, that’s an unnecessary carbon footprint when we have perfectly fine woodland in Britain.
Hitting Google search, he started to research other local firewood businesses – They were all doing the same wasteful shipping.
Matthew decided it was time to start his own company, FirewoodFund.co.uk. Now, we offer sustainably sourced firewood delivered straight to your home (or firepit, if you’re that lazy!)
Today, we have organised thousands of firewood log deliveries and donated thousands of pounds towards tree planting activity in the United Kingdom.
