How do I get kiln-dried logs delivered to my Cambridgeshire address?
It’s simple. Just select the volume of firewood you need and head to the checkout. Once you’ve entered your payment details, choose your preferred delivery date and we’ll do the rest.
See, we told you it was simple!
How much is a firewood delivery to Cambridgeshire?
Delivery is free from Monday to Friday; a small charge applies on Saturday.
What do I get when I order kiln-dried logs from FirewoodFund?
Your wood will be delivered on a pallet, either in a bulk bag or in smaller boxes, depending on your preference.
Each order contains a mixture of British hardwood logs including:
- Kiln-dried ash logs for sale
- Kiln-dried oak logs for sale
- Kiln-dried beech logs for sale
You can pick the size of logs you’d prefer using our online size selector. Choose from:
- Small logs for sale
- Medium logs for sale
- Large logs for sale
… according to your needs.
All our firewood arrives ready to burn because it’s been kiln-dried to remove excess moisture. This process also means they reach high temperatures quickly and give off much less smoke than seasoned logs. In fact, they’re the best wood for burning.
Why do you sell firewood by volume?
Because it’s better for you! Kiln-dried logs contain a lot less moisture than seasoned logs and weigh less. If you ordered the same weight of kiln-dried wood as seasoned wood, you may receive more firewood logs than you have space for! As a result, we’ve chosen to sell logs by volume (m3); it gives you a clearer idea of what you’re buying because you can picture how much space your order takes up.

Can I save money on kiln-dried wood?
Of course. We recommend buying kiln dried firewood during the summer to benefit from discounts (especially if you have a log store!). Why? Wood tends to be cheaper when demand is low.
You can also save money by bulk-buying kiln-dried logs. The cost-per-unit decreases for a wide range of reasons, resulting in cost savings for you. Plus, it saves you the hassle of remembering to pick up logs at the shops!
Are kiln-dried logs only suitable for open fires?
No. Kiln-dried logs are very versatile, so they can be used in lots of ways. For example:
- Use hardwood logs in your wood-fired clay/brick pizza oven for an authentic, smoky flavour.
- Pop them in your wood-burning or multi-fuel stove for a cosy home. We supply the best wood for burning.
- Add kiln dried hardwood to your firepit, chiminea or campfire while enjoying the great outdoors.
Versatile kiln dried logs for sale:
Our logs can be used for many purposes, so whether you are searching for; best wood for log burners, best wood for pizza ovens, chiminea logs, wood for wood burners, wood for stoves or wood logs for fireplace – we can fulfil your needs.
How do I know it’s been sustainably sourced?
If you place an order with FirewoodFund, you can be sure that your wood has been responsibly sourced. All bulk logs for sale on this site are from British woodlands and were felled as part of a tree-thinning process undertaken by expert tree surgeons.
Plus, we make regular donations to tree-planting programmes across the UK. We’re dedicated to helping Britain’s woodlands remain healthy and diverse for years to come. Our aim is to operate as a responsible log supplier.
